hOWLoween Drawing Special!

I don’t know how to express how much fun this session will be and we are SO delighted to be putting it on for you! Live owls & birds of prey in a halloween studio set-up - YES PLEASE!!

Birds of prey are just the best subjects to draw from life because generally, they keep their body still and only move their heads about a bit. Now that I’ve said that of course, we’ll probably have models behaving like they’ve been knocking back haribo and red bull… and if that’s the case we shall embrace the madness and draw it anyway!

EVERYONE is most welcome to this session, the more bums on seats the merrier (especially because it would be kind of lovely if we covered the cost of hiring the owls!). We’ll be connecting with Feather’s and Fur Falconry in their studio set-up and drawing some of their gorgeous and characterful birds. Having worked with this team before with Animal Life Drawing, I can promise you’re in for a treat!

You’ll want to bring drawing materials that move swiftly across the page and be prepared to create lively observational drawings rather than detailed portraits.

We really can’t wait to draw with you for this one so dig out your sketchbooks and sharpen your pencils…I’m thinking, bring an orange crayon or ink too.
