I bought some books so thought I’d share.

It can be hit and miss ordering books online which is why you’ll find it hard to tear me away from an actual bookshop when I find them!

I’d love to know what books you love, now and or when you were a child. Did you have favourites that you’d return to over and over?

For me it was the Brambley Hedge series by Jill Barklem and the Little Grey Rabbit series by Alison Uttley and Margaret Tempest. Even into my teens I would sneak these books from the bookshelf on the upstairs landing for a comfort read.

Book List:

Ten-Word Tiny Tales of Love by Joseph Coelho and Friends

Deep in the Ocean by Lucie Brunellière

Where Have You Been, Little Cat by Richard Jones

The Mouse Who Carried a House on His Back by Jonathan Stutzman and Isabelle Arsenault

Please share your childhood comfort reads and picturebook recommendations in the comments below, we’d love to see them!
